Please read our Terms and Conditions carefully. It is the policy of AA Star Cleaning Ltd to strictly enforce its Terms of Agreement in the event of any dispute. ‘You’ referred to in these Terms & Conditions as: ‘the client’.
The client agrees that any use of the services provided by AA Star Cleaning Ltd shall constitute their acceptance of the below Terms and Conditions. Our cleaning service may be ordered by telephone, e-mail or on-line and the client agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
AA Star Cleaning Ltd can introduce house cleaners and office cleaners at short notice. We pride ourselves on providing a personalised quality service for each individual client.
The client agrees to provide a list of tasks they want completing during our cleaning visit and if providing their own cleaning materials and equipment, all cleaning equipment should be safe and in full working order.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the cleaners have full access to the property being cleaned and they must allow the cleaner access to hot water and power.
AA Star Cleaning Ltd will not perform any oven cleaning: inside oven/grill - exterior surfaces will be cleaned, carpet cleaning or specialised cleaning of any antique, delicate or valuable items unless otherwise agreed.
At the start and end of a One-off clean it is essential you or a member of your household is present to ensure that you are happy and point out areas you want specifically cleaned.
AA Star Cleaning Ltd will not be held be liable for work not completed, or not completed to a good standard, if other people or tradesmen are working in the same property when our cleaners are working and carrying out the job. If collection of keys is required from a location outside the postal code area of the cleaning scheduled, a £10 charge will apply.
The client may cancel or re-schedule a service by giving at least 48 hour’s notice.
If not notified on time AA Star Cleaning Ltd will not refund any deposit paid in advance or will charge a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted price for the booked service. The cancellation notice period for cleaning services is 14 days.
The client must pay AA Star Cleaning Ltd any amounts that he/she owes under the agreement.
AA Star Cleaning Ltd reserves the right to cancel the cleaning service with immediate effect due to non payment. The client agrees that after the termination of the cleaning service he/she will not hire or use any services provided by a past cleaner introduced to the client by AA Star Cleaning Ltd. If the client does wish to hire or use services provided
by such a person then he/she must pay a referral fee of £1,000.
The client agrees to pay the full price of the cleaning visit in the event of a lock-out caused by our cleaners being turned away, no one home to let them in or a problem with the client’s keys. If keys are provided they must open the lock without any special efforts or skills. If an initial deposit has been paid to AA Star Cleaning Ltd then the client agrees that the deposit
funds may be used to cover the cancellation fee.
The client accepts and understands that poor service, breakages, damage or theft must be reported within 24 hours from our service date. No claims can be made against AA Star Cleaning Ltd after the above time limit.
In the case of a complaint, AA Star Cleaning Ltd must be notified within 24 hours after the cleaning work is completed. Claims will not be considered after the above time limit.
If the client is dissatisfied with the work, a cleaner must be allowed to return and re-do the job at no extra charge within 2 working days of receiving a complaint. The company will not normally refund any payment if it is not permitted to return to the client’s property to complete the job. Refunds will be issued only if the client has canceled a cleaning visit within the allowed time (48 hours) prior to the start of the cleaning session and payment has already been taken.
AA Star Cleaning Ltd reserves the right not to be responsible for cleaning jobs not completed when the client opts to provide their own and the job is left unfinished due to the lack of suitable cleaning materials and/or equipment, hot water or power; a third party entering or present at the client’s premises during the cleaning process.
Items excluded from liability are: cash, items of sentimental value, arts and antiques, any damages caused by faulty or not in full working order materials/equipment supplied by the client; accidental damages worth £100.00 or less; any accidental damages caused by our cleaners if the client has an unpaid balance owed to AA Star Cleaning Ltd.
The standard end of tenancy cleaning does not include cleaning of walls, ceilings, curtains, balconies, patios, exterior windows and carpets. If the client requires cleaning of walls then AA Star Cleaning Ltd cannot be held responsible for any unsuccessful results or any damage caused to the paintwork.
Payment is requested on completion on the day of the cleaning session. Payment can be made by cash, standing order or internet transfer (BACS). The client understands that any ‘late payments’ may be subject to additional charges.
If payment is not made within 28 days of the invoice then the account will be passed to our collections department, after which a charge of 20% on top of the initial invoice due, will be added to the debt on a weekly basis.
You agree as part of this contract to pay this sum which represents our reasonable costs in collecting the unpaid amounts.
AA Star Cleaning Ltd will collect any outstanding monies owed to us. If as a result we have to use a debt collection agency or county court to secure payment, you agree to pay any debt collecting agency fees, court fees, legals costs or interest that will occur due to the result of non payment of your outstanding invoice.
AA Star Cleaning Ltd reserves the right to make any changes to any part of these terms and conditions without giving any prior notice. Please, check the website for updates.
